1. Who is the data controller

The Vinely, operator of The Vinely, is the data controller for personal data processed through the Service. Contact: info@thevinely.com.

2. What we collect

• Account data — name, email, phone, password hash, profile photo, brokerage, license state.
• Client data agents add — name, email, phone, property address, transaction details.
• Usage data — page views, clicks, IP, user agent, referrer.
• Content — messages, notes, uploaded files, recorded videos.
• Payment metadata — subscription status, last 4 digits and brand of card (full card data is held by Paddle, never by us).

3. Why we process it

• To provide and secure the Service (contract).
• To send transactional and product emails (contract / legitimate interest).
• To compute home valuations, market reports, and AI-generated suggestions (contract).
• To detect abuse and prevent fraud (legitimate interest).
• To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, lawful requests).

4. Who we share it with

• Paddle.com Market Ltd — Merchant of Record for payments, billing, and tax.
• Supabase / cloud infrastructure — hosting, database, storage.
• Email and SMS providers — transactional delivery.
• AI providers — to generate assistant responses; inputs are sent for processing.
• Property data providers (e.g. ATTOM, FRED) — to fetch valuations and market data.
• Analytics — aggregate product analytics, where enabled.

We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Data may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.

6. Retention

Account data is retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to satisfy legal, accounting, or dispute obligations. You can request deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or object to processing of your personal data. Email info@thevinely.com to exercise these rights.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage for authentication, session security, and basic analytics. Disabling them may break parts of the Service.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, row-level security on the database, leaked-password checks, and least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes

Material changes will be notified by email or in-app.
